Spotter SWMS shall assess the risk of high-risk activities involved in spotting electrical hazards per electrical spotter regulations.
High-risk activities in construction that may expose an electrical spotter to hazards and risks are likely to include but not be limited to:
Working on or near live electrical equipment, e.g. hazards of electricity
Implementing an isolation procedure for electrical equipment to ensure safety with electrical installation and equipment
Working near live electrical apparatus per electrical live-work policy and procedure
Work at height as a high voltage safety observer
Other electrical spotter requirements per working on live electrical equipment risk assessment
