Blocklaying SWMS shall assess the risk of construction high-risk activities for mixing and loading masonry mortar mix.
High-risk work activities that may expose workers to WHS hazards are likely to include but not be limited to:
Plant and equipment used in the work task, e.g. cement mixer
Work at height, e.g. fall from heights
Manual handling tasks of transferring the cement mortar mix
Exposure to hazardous chemical, e.g. Portland cement
Other hazards with mixing and loading cement mortar to mortar boards
