How do I access WHSMS?

WHSMS provides you with the administrative tools to create a safer workplace and a more efficient workforce.

The workplace health and safety team will take you step-by-step through the set-up process and show you how effective this will work for your workplace, but also how easy it really is.

After we have received your payment, the person nominated as the primary user licence holder shall be emailed a link with your unique username and password to access WHSMS.

You are now recognised within WHSMS.

• To access WHSMS open the link and login entering the username and password emailed to you.

• You then choose to either complete the registration process or complete it at a later date via the organiser tab situated in the main menu bar.

The first time you login for the purpose of compliance with statute legislation you will be asked to:

• Create any additional groups e.g. other workplaces assigned or required to report to the primary workplace or group.

• Add and assign employees details to either the primary group or another group within the organisational tree. You can also nominate an employee to be a WHSMS user.

• Create a plant register for each article or item of plant and equipment owned by an organisation.

• Enter contractors and suppliers to the primary group or an additional group or workplace.

The 4 registers record vital information and data to provide you with easier access to all your records whenever you need them.

Within each of the registers, there are mandatory fields for you to fill in. It is necessary for you to complete these fields so you can move to the next part of WHSMS.

Should you not complete a mandatory field, you will be notified to complete so, prior to your progressing to the next section of the registration process.
