Founder Kevin Gowdie commenced his career as a carpenter in the construction industry.
After gaining industry experience and with a passion for WHS management systems, he then progressed to WHS Inspector with Workplace Health and Safety QLD and OHS consultant.
As a workplace health and safety inspector, his role was to ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and prosecute WHS matters for workplace accidents periodically resulting in fatal injuries.
His transition to WHS consultant and training provider saw him develop, implement and maintain WHS management systems, safe work method statements and WHS training courses.
Workplace Health and Safety was founded in response to an industry need for WHS solutions and documentation measurable against WHS KPIs.
